Celebrate the FEAST OF ST. PATRICK, the foremost patron Saint of Ireland!
These Irish trickster fairies wore green which made them invisible! On St. Patrick's day, they sneak up and pinch those not "wearin' O' the green"!
They hide their gold in a pot at the end of the rainbow!
Three leaved green sprigs, a symbol of St. Patrick's Day, was used by St. Patrick to represent the
Christian Holy Trinity, The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. The three leaves are also said to represent Faith, Hope and Love. Irish and St. Pattys Day symbol.
Birthname was Maewyn Succat. Kidnapped at the age of 16 and forced into slavery. Escaped 6 years later. He had a dream vision and began to preach Christian religion. Buried in Ireland, we celebrate him on his death date, March 17th, which is now known not only by the Irish, but the world over as St. Patrick's Day.
