When circumstances prevent the gathering, there are always ways to celebrate with the guest of honor by letting them know you are thinking of them! Mailing and social media open the doors to communication and sharing. While it is not a good substitute for a good "old fashioned" party, the purpose is served, and memories are still being made! There are no rules for creating a unique way to celebrate any occasion, nor are there any rules for the timeline to do so. All of the ideas listed above for creating a party may not be feasible during this time of Covid-19, but I hope you are inspired by some of the thoughts and traditions to make your party fly!If customers can’t find it, it doesn’t exist. Clearly list and describe the services you offer. Also, be sure to showcase a premium service.
Becoming a new parent for the first time or becoming a parent again often brings overwhelming change into the household and the way life works! During the initial adjustment phase, parents should not hesitate to ask for help, nor should family and friends feel imposing to offer! Lack of sleep, after-birth discomfort, post-partum depression, isolation, disrupted schedules, and the learning curve all play into the need for assistance! Both Mom and Dad are physically and mentally affected by the addition of their little bundle of joy, While it is true that there is no love like that of a parent, there are a wide range of emotions that come and go. Give yourself or your loved one a break!
New Parents: Read, Research, and Relax! Many books and articles on child raising are available, but no one book will have all the answers. Children do not come with instruction manuals! Natural instinct will usually prevail, but advice never hurts! Do as much studying as you would for any job or passion, to get the best results! Raising a child is the most important job any adult can undertake! More important than money, this task will not only have long term affects on the child, but will also impact those around, as well as the parents! The future is in this new generation! Do your job, do it well, and put your child first!
Welcome Baby and New Mom home! Have the nursery ready, meals in the fridge and freezer. Put out welcome signs and balloons! Offer to help if you can, but be careful not to impose on that homecoming day. Mom will be exhausted, and most likely, the new family will want some alone time to settle in and bond. No homecoming party!
Baby Showers are traditionally for the mom and women in her life. Today's Dads are much more involved in child raising than previous generations. Having a shower for baby that includes both Mom and Dad is a growing trend that is having a positive affect on the way parenting is viewed. I highly recommend it if the parents are on board! Baby showers are also appropriate for adopting parents as well! It may "take a village" to raise a child, but everything begins at home!
